HOT Priority Countries

In 2020, the Humanitarian OpenStreetmap Team (HOT) committed to an organisational transformation to enable a dramatic expansion of activities and support services provision, thanks to the generosity of The Audacious Project funders. This transformation comes with a renewed emphasis on leveraging humanitarian and social impact through supporting the evolution of local OpenStreetMap (OSM) mapping communities and ecosystems in countries at high risk of disaster or experiencing multidimensional poverty.

This page attempts to track the evolution of OSM data and communities as HOT works to advance the mobilization of one million contributors to map an area home to one billion people by 2026.
